“ The principle behind Native Leaf is to incorporate Southwest regional plant medicine- it's long established & modern applications in my practice of Phytotherapy, Nutrition, handmade personal care items & liniments.”
Did you know that there are about 3,614 native plants in New Mexico alone, and many of them have medicinal properties or are edible? The Southwest region extends through Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Nevada, & Utah. Texas and Oklahoma are often considered part of the southwest climatically as well. That leaves a wide variety of historically medicinal plants that can generally be used to aid us in many of the common ailments we experience today. I use both science based and traditional approaches in my practice promoting the responsible use of herbal medicine.
As often as possible these herbs used are wild crafted or locally sourced to support sustainable practices.

"I have found Jessica to be extremely knowledgeable about nutrition and anything to do with health. I consult her on all aspects of nutrition whether it involves me or my kids. I trust her advice. Thanks to Jessica, the owner at the daycare where we send our kids, recognized the importance of feeding children whole foods, and has even made changes to their weekly menu! I highly recommend her services."
